Job summary

Four Winds Casinos is seeking an experienced kitchen leader to oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items in a fast-paced ala carte setting. You will ensure consistency, quality, and timely service while upholding sanitation standards.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, culinary training, and experience in fine dining. You’ll guide and develop a team of cooks, collaborate with menus, and maintain high guest satisfaction in a vibrant casino

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; culinary degree or apprenticeship required.
• Three to four years of fine dining/à la carte experience.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain it.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Level 2 Gaming License required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook foods of all types in an ala carte setting.
• Supervise and coordinate cooks and kitchen staff.
• Plan and develop recipes and menus considering seasonal ingredients and guest counts.
• Check quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with standards.
