Job summary

Sky River is seeking a Lead Cook for the Pub to oversee every stage of dish preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring proper portion control and consistent presentation.

Under the Executive Chef, you will supervise kitchen staff, maintain stocked stations, communicate guest feedback, uphold safety and sanitation, and support the casino’s service standards.

This role requires leadership, reliability, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food service or Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• 3 years' restaurant kitchen and 5 years' overall culinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees cooks ensuring timely task completion.
• Maintains stocked cooking stations and equipment.
• Prepares dishes with proper portion control.
• Assists with plating and presentation.
• Communicates guest feedback to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintains clean work area and proper closing procedures.
