Job summary

Maui Brewing Company Kailua is seeking a Lead Cook to supervise our back-of-house team and ensure timely, quality food prep. You will lead shifts, manage inventories, and uphold food safety standards in a vibrant brewery kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a fast-paced kitchen, supervisory experience, and the ability to work evenings and weekends, with familiarity across Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, and Pizza stations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Supervisory/lead experience in a kitchen setting.
• Experience with Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, and Pizza stations.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure timely, quality prep.
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, orders, and waste to control costs.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high performance.
• Collaborate on menu planning and recipe adjustments.
• Monitor equipment and resolve operational issues promptly.
