Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor to lead the Controls Technicians, mentor the team, and coordinate with SCADA, PLC, and IT specialists to deliver advanced automated manufacturing equipment. You will guide project execution, improve machine efficiency, and ensure timely completion.

The role combines hands-on controls work with people leadership in a Fargo, ND setting, offering relocation support and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

Must have working knowledge of ICIM manufacturing software and MS Office.
Experience with PLC and operator interface programming languages.
Familiarity with standard networking technologies and hardware.
Knowledge of SCADA and automation control systems.
Understanding data communication protocols and Windows/Unix/Linux OS.

Responsibilities

Provide direction for the Controls group while continuing to execute controls work, collaborating with Automation Systems, Maintenance, Information Systems, and Operations.
Support team leadership activities, including interviewing candidates, training employees, planning work, balancing workloads, delegating assignments, evaluating work, addressing concerns, and resolving problems.
Research, analyze, install, and test automation control systems to improve machine efficiency and production demand.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues; recommend preventive maintenance and process improvements.
Manage projects and timelines through completion while maintaining feedback loops and end-user training.
Serve as a liaison with vendors to ensure equipment and wiring align with Marvin specifications.
