Job summary

Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor in Fargo, ND, to lead and mentor the Controls Technicians while continuing hands-on controls work. You’ll collaborate with SCADA, PLC, and data systems experts to design, install, and optimize automated manufacturing equipment, manage projects and timelines, and drive high-quality outcomes for production teams.

Qualifications

Four-year degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Project management skills and ability to meet timelines.
Strong communication, training, and mentoring abilities.
Ability to create collaborative team environment and empower others.

Responsibilities

Provide direction for the Controls group while executing controls work with cross-functional teams.
Lead, mentor, and coordinate Controls Technicians; recruit and train staff as needed.
Research, install, and test automation control systems to improve efficiency and meet production demands.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues; propose preventive maintenance.
Manage projects and timelines to completion, with end-user training and vendor liaison.
