Job summary

The NRP Group LLC seeks a Project Superintendent in Charleston to lead on-site construction of residential complexes, coordinating field operations, ensuring safety, and maintaining project schedules. You will supervise subcontractors, manage document updates, and uphold quality control from inception through occupancy.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Construction or Civil field and at least 5 years of experience managing multi-family builds, with strong communication and planning skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Civil related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing multi-family construction projects.
• Knowledge of site work, utility infrastructure, structural building, mechanical and interior finishes required.

Responsibilities

• Organize sequencing of field operations, staging of materials and satellite office.
• Prepare project updates, documentation and related administrative duties.
• Solve problems, prioritize and multi-task while maintaining communication and organizational skills.
• Implement quality assurance and control procedures to comply with contract documents and specifications.
• Supervise on-site construction activities to meet design and project commitments with professionalism and integrity.
• Represent the company with subcontractors, consultants, owners, vendors and municipal agencies as required.
• Assist project management with permits and coordination with municipalities and utilities.
• Review scope-of-work and provide technical direction as required.
• Ensure safety protocols per company program and applicable codes.
• Coordinate deliveries and material staging for a safe, clean work environment.
• Complete accurate progress reports and project documentation.
