Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site operations, safety, and schedule coordination on diverse projects. You will work with the Project Manager to guide field teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality and compliance across trades.

The role requires building plans understanding, proactive problem solving, and strong communication with owners and design teams. Travel to sites and long assignments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years related experience or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCad and project mgmt software.
• Solid understanding of plans, specs, value engineering and life cycle costing.
• Proven results in safety initiatives and OSHA readiness (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Ability to travel to project sites and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction activities and directed field operations.
• Coordinate safety, productivity, schedule, quality, and trade contractors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost codes, budgets, and reporting.
• Ensure quality programs; create site QC plans and monitor performance.
• Lead preconstruction collaboration and constructability reviews.
• Schedule inspections with authorities and coordinate documentation.
