Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to run the project quality control program on large or multi-phase projects under USACE, NAVFAC, or related quality requirements. You will lead field inspectors, write the QC plan, and be accountable for every test result and NCR.

Your role includes coordinating with owners and subcontractors, leading three-phase control meetings, and driving corrective action and retests for audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
• Writes clearly and holds the line in a room of superintendents and owner representatives.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
