Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee the quality control program on large multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or USACE/NAVFAC federal work. You will write the project QC plan and supervise field inspectors to ensure all tests and nonconformances are addressed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency;
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work;
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians;
• assign daily coverage and review their reports;
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings;
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
