Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects with heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements.

You will write the project QC plan, run three-phase control meetings, supervise field inspectors and testers, coordinate lab testing and certifications, and own the NCR process to ensure audits pass.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction QC or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
