Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to run the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects—heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements. You will lead field inspectors and technicians and own the project QC plan and defect resolution.

You will chair the three-phase control meetings with the owner's QA representative, review test results and NCRs, and coordinate lab testing, mix designs, and material

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• USACE CQM-C certificate plus ICC special inspector or NICET Level III certification.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
• Writes clearly and holds the line in a room of superintendents and owner representatives.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
