Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC requirements. You will write the project quality control plan and lead three-phase control meetings with field staff reporting to you.

You will answer for every test result and nonconformance, coordinate laboratory testing and material certifications, and present data to the owner QA

Qualifications

6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
USACE CQM-C certificate and ICC NICET certifications.
Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner programs.
Clear writer and ability to present data in meetings.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain the project quality control plan and obtain acceptance.
Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for features of work.
Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians and review their reports.
Assign daily coverage and review inspector reports.
Run NCR and corrective-action process and present at owner QA/QC meetings.
Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications.
