Job summary

McGough Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex construction efforts on high-profile projects. You will ensure project success by managing financials, schedule, safety, quality, and client satisfaction across multiple sites with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities include pursuing opportunities, developing estimates, creating CPM schedules, coordinating with owners, designers, and subcontractors, and guiding project teams from preconstruction through closeout

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience, including self-perform capabilities.
• Estimating and Scheduling experience.
• Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships with owners, designers, and subcontractors.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task within time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Assist pursuit team in understanding prospective projects and requirements.
• Assist pursuit team in completing responses to RFQs and RFPs.
• Participate in pursuit interviews.
• Assist with and participate in preconstruction meetings.
• Provide management and leadership to ensure successful completion of QA/QC page turn process.
• Understand project-specific workforce and vendor participation goals and incorporate into project work plan.
• Lead quantity take-offs and assist with estimating.
• Create CPM schedules and assist with schedule updates.
• Review drawings and specs; manage RFI process and submittals.
• Foster relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
