TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a lead foreman to effectively lead a construction crew. You will supervise daily activities, ensure safety compliance, train crew members on proper procedures, and coordinate with project supervision to maintain schedules and quality standards.

The role emphasizes accurate reporting, adherence to safety rules, and teamwork. You will work outdoors in variable conditions, possibly at heights, and may require overtime as workload dictates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material control and unit manhour performance, estimating fundamentals and job cost management systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient, and timely construction of the project.
• Ensure construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
• Assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequencing of activities for assigned crew.
• Complete work within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship and company reputation.
• Ensure crew safety and conduct operations according to safety rules.
• Develop crew attitude by conducting toolbox talks and communicating safety concerns, scope, plans and schedules.
