Job summary

You will plan and organize crews, equipment and materials, supervise equipment use, and maintain accurate reports. This role requires strong supervision, communication, and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience leading crews on construction projects.
• Ability to train and enforce safety practices.
• Strong knowledge of schedules, material control and costs.
• Excellent communication with craft workers and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain reporting records: quantities, productivity, time sheets and reports.
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequence of activities.
• Ensure on-time completion within estimated costs while upholding quality.
• Uphold safety rules and conduct toolbox talks and safety communications.
• Monitor compliance with company policies by all employees.
• If needed, communicate plans to leadmen and crews.
