Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to plan, coordinate and manage crews on a major project. You will ensure safe, efficient construction and adherence to timelines, plans, and codes.

You will oversee equipment operation, track productivity, prepare daily reports, and develop weekly schedules. Strong leadership, communication, and safety training are essential to maintain quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Ability to supervise craft workers and communicate clearly.
• Experience in task planning, safety training and procedures.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, material control and job cost management systems.
• Strong communication, motivation and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including quantities, productivity, time sheets and daily management reports.
• Assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequencing activities for assigned crew.
• Ensure timely completion within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Promote crew safety and conduct operations according to safety rules.
• Lead toolbox meetings and communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules to crews.
• Monitor compliance with all company policies by employees under supervision.
