Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in the United States is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to direct daily activities of the crew in line with project timelines, plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.

You will train, supervise, coordinate resources, ensure safe operation of equipment, maintain reports, help develop weekly schedules, conduct toolbox talks, and uphold safety and quality across all work.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team supervision capabilities.
• Safety training and procedures knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage crew performance and morale.
• Experience with scheduling and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequencing activities for the crew.
• Ensure timely completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality.
• Ensure crew safety and enforce company/government safety rules.
• Lead toolbox talks and communicate scope, plans and schedules to crews.
• Monitor compliance with all company policies.
