Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to guide daily crew activities, coordinate equipment and materials, and ensure work aligns with project timelines, plans, codes and safety standards on site. You will train crews on proper safety and operational procedures, monitor productivity, manage toolbox talks, and maintain accurate reports of quantities, time sheets and progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• Ability to perform essential functions under supervision.
• Ability to plan tasks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with scheduling, material control and unit manhour performance.
• Ability to understand and communicate instructions clearly.
• Strong communication, motivation and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including quantities, productivity, timesheets and daily reports.
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequencing of activities for the crew.
• Ensure timely completion within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Ensure crew safety and enforce all safety rules and procedures.
• Lead toolbox meetings and communicate plans and safety concerns to leads and crews.
• Monitor compliance with company policies by all employees supervised.
