Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and employee owners. The Construction Crew Lead assists the Crew Foreman in building quality projects, developing teams and promoting a positive construction experience for customers.

Salary ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience, with potential career advancement in a dynamic ESOP environment and strong safety culture across our nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in building construction.
• CDL Class A license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Desire to obtain OSHA 10-hour, Equipment Operation and Competent Person certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and provide leadership.
• Willingness to travel 25% (overnight travel possible).

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Foreman in constructing buildings and ensuring quality.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Lead the crew to complete projects profitably and safely.
• Train and mentor crew members, including new hires.
• Maintain a safe, organized, productive and enjoyable workplace.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors to meet objectives.
• Support positive customer construction experience.
