Job summary

PCL Construction, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Concrete Superintendent to lead concrete operations on water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

You will oversee field execution, coordinate crews and trade partners, and ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong site management, and ability to build high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or engineering degree in related discipline.
• 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• Successfully supervised a construction workforce.
• Understanding of project scope and ability to apply engineering principles to plans.

Responsibilities

• Works with project manager to ensure safety program implementation.
• Supervises, directs, coaches, and mentors project team.
• Communicates effectively with all trades and teams.
• Collaborates with project team to manage schedule and budget.
• Liaises with client, subcontractors, and site representatives.
• Plans schedule, identifies critical path, and mitigates risks.
• Develops and maintains project execution plans and lookaheads.
• Maintains documentation and supports client relationships.
