Job summary

PCL Construction, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona seeks a Superintendent to lead field operations on complex water and wastewater projects.

You will drive safety, quality, schedule and production from startup through completion, coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and self-perform crews. Ideal candidates will have a Journeyman certificate or engineering degree, plus 15 years of field supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or undergraduate/engineering degree required or preferred.
• NCSO designation required (IND); Gold Seal program (CDN) preferred.
• 15 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specs, methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret cost reports and use LCRs for cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects from startup through completion.
• Coordinate scheduling with self-perform crews and trade contractors; maintain three-week lookahead.
• Lead effective site meetings with clients, consultants and trades; mitigate risks and resolve conflicts.
