Job summary

ProBerco seeks a Program Specialist to supervise the Adult Training program staff, develop meaningful activities, and lead case management for participants. The role requires compassion, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work with a diverse population.

You will coordinate planning, ensure licensing compliance, and implement programs while maintaining documentation and reports for program participants and families across Berks County locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree and one year’s experience with people with disabilities, or Bachelor’s in related field with two years’ experience, or Associate’s Degree with four years’ experience.
• Ability to function with and relate to persons with intellectual and physical disabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
• PA Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all employees assigned to the program area; train and relay information.
• Inspire people with disabilities to lead meaningful lives through innovative services.
• Develop volunteer, recreational, and paid work experiences in the community.
• Monitor participants’ health and diet; communicate needs to supervisor and family.
• Assist with intake and referral process for new admissions.
• Coordinate planning time and group meetings for programmatic needs.
• Supervise and assist participants with daily and therapeutic activities.
• Assist with licensing inspections.
• Ensure compliance with policies, state regulations, and laws.
• Develop and implement programs; evaluate reports and meetings.
• Manage caseload: meetings, liaison with families, IPPs/ICP coordination, reports.
