Job summary

CASA of Berks County is seeking an Advocate Supervisor to provide direct supervision and support to volunteer advocates, supervise case work, and lead training. The role includes community outreach, recruitment, and collaboration with partners across Berks County.

A Bachelor's degree and experience in social services are required, along with strong communication and a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time hybrid position with in-office, court, and event duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in social services.
• Experience supervising others.
• Experience with training deliverables and facilitation.
• Experience with community outreach or public-facing engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support an assigned caseload of volunteer advocates.
• Review advocate reports and ensure quality, timely court documentation.
• Provide guidance on case decisions, family engagement, and court preparation.
• Monitor advocate performance and provide coaching as needed.
• Maintain accurate case records in compliance with program standards.
• Lead pre-service and in-service training for volunteers.
• Represent CASA at community events and partner meetings.
• Support volunteer recruitment across the county and build relationships with partners.
