Job summary

ProBerco is recruiting for Community Living Direct Support Professionals in Berks County. The role includes supervising adults with disabilities in community homes, with a $2,000 New Hire Sign-On Bonus and pay starting at $17.35 per hour, plus shift differentials based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, implementing support plans, and ensuring safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; some college preferred in education or human services.
• Experience with persons with developmental disabilities preferred; work experience required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid PA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide a supportive, caring, safe environment for residents.
• Assist in planning and development of outcomes for resident care.
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Implement Individualized Support Plans and related activities.
• Follow corporate policies and state regulations.
• Attend to residents' emotional, physical, or medical needs.
• Report health or safety concerns to management.
• Report incidents per policy on incident management.
• Complete required training (24 hours per year).
• Participate in job development and staff meetings.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility for reassignment.
• Other duties as assigned.
