Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager for Woodbridge, VA to oversee day-to-day operations of an apartment community. The role drives leasing, budgeting, vendor management, and resident satisfaction while leading on-site staff and ensuring compliance with company policies and housing laws.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years in property management, strong communication, and a proven ability to meet revenue and occupancy goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years minimum property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of an assigned property, including team, activities, and resources to meet budgeted goals.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, and prepare monthly financial status reports.
• Approve invoices, manage vendor relations, and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Oversee lease enforcement, inspections, and occupancy strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Promote resident satisfaction and supervise on-site staff to meet standards of safety and appearance.
