Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead complex installation projects from kickoff through startup. You will install rooftop units, furnaces, and ductwork while reading blueprints and mentoring Install Helpers. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work on rooftops, mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
• Install rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Read blueprints and installation plans to keep projects on schedule.
• Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and system performance.
• Perform startups, testing, commissioning, and final inspections.
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and team members throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Complete installation documentation accurately and on time.
