Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC, a NearU Company, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead commercial installation projects from start to finish and mentor Install Helpers. You will read blueprints, install rooftop units and systems, and ensure on-time startup with safety and quality.

You will coach apprentices, verify system performance, and communicate with customers and project managers. EPA certification and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints and installation plans.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
• Read blueprints, specifications, and plans to stay on schedule.
• Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and system performance.
• Perform startups, testing, commissioning, and quality inspections.
• Communicate with customers and project managers throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Complete installation documentation accurately and on time.
