Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to manage commercial projects from start to finish. You will lead on-site teams, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with customers and project managers throughout each installation.

We offer year-round work, overtime opportunities, and a company vehicle. EPA certification, 4+ years of HVAC experience, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to work on rooftops, mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
• Install/replace rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, ACs, and duct systems.
• Read blueprints and installation plans to stay on schedule.
• Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and system performance.
• Perform startups, testing, commissioning, and final inspections.
• Communicate with customers, PMs, and team members throughout installation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Complete installation documentation accurately and on time.
