Byrum Heating & AC, a NearU Company, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to head commercial installations from kickoff to startup. You will lead on-site teams, read blueprints, mentor Install Helpers and Apprentices, ensure safety and quality, and deliver dependable performance for clients.

You’ll install rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork, coordinating with customers and project managers while maintaining a clean, safe site and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing installation projects and mentoring team members.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• EPA Certification (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service.

Responsabilités

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
• Install and replace rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, A/Cs, and duct systems.
• Read blueprints and installation plans to keep projects on schedule.
• Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and system performance.
• Perform startups, testing, commissioning, and inspections.
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and team members throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Complete installation documentation accurately and on time.
