Job summary

CorroHealth sits at the center of the revenue cycle revolution and is hiring a Lead Coding Quality Specialist to direct a small audit team. You will audit inpatient and professional coding, ensure accuracy, and drive policy compliance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You will mentor auditors, review performance, and collaborate with the Coding Department to improve processes while maintaining top quality scores and data integrity across payer guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production coding experience including inpatient coding.
• CIC or CCS certification; or CPC/COC or CCS-P.
• Knowledge of EMR and coding guidelines.
• Ability to lead a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of coding quality specialists, assign tasks and mentor staff.
• Audit and code ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers across multiple service types.
• Ensure compliance with AHIMA standards and company ethics.
• Communicate audit findings to staff and management and maintain detailed records.
