Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a Lead Coding Quality Specialist to direct a small team of auditors responsible for hospital and physician audits across inpatient, outpatient, and other service types.

The role requires leading tasks, ensuring deadlines, and mentoring staff in quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of production coding experience, CIC or CCS certification, and proficiency with EMR and billing systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production coding experience in hospital and/or physician practice.
• CIC or CCS certification required; CPC/COC or CCS-P also acceptable.
• Strong Excel and Outlook skills; ability to communicate clearly and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of coding quality specialists, assign tasks, ensure deadlines, and mentor staff on quality and compliance.
• Conduct regular code reviews to assess accuracy, compliance, and risk; identify corrective actions.
• Communicate audit findings to staff and management; maintain detailed audit records.
