Qualifications

• Associates degree and national coding certification are preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience (inpatient, outpatient, or professional services).
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage coding workflows to reduce backlogs and optimize revenue cycle processes.
• Communicate regularly with Coding staff, CDI staff, Physicians and other departments.
• Schedule staff for department based on volumes and prioritize workloads.
• Develop and present executive level reporting package on a quarterly basis.
• Perform regular audits to monitor coding quality and accuracy.
• Ensure privacy and security rules and internal policies are followed.
