Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to design and optimize multi-axis programs for high-temperature alloys. You’ll use NX-CAM and Vericut to validate toolpaths in a risk-free virtual environment before production.

You will mentor shop-floor teams, integrate new equipment, and establish machining standards for large VTLs and 5-axis mills up to 2.5 m, while improving safety, quality, and delivery. Strong problem solving and geometry/trigonometry skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of CAM programming experience (graphical CAM)
• Experience with multi-axis machining and high-temp alloys
• CLM / closed-loop machining experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize CNC programs for complex multi-axis setups
• Use Vericut to validate toolpaths before production
• Develop adaptive probing routines and macro programming
• Commission new multi-million-dollar machine tools and establish standards
• Mentor floor teams and share knowledge across the shop
• Support large VTL, VMB, 5-axis mills up to 2.5 m
