GE Vernova is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist for 2nd shift to design and optimize high‑efficiency multi‑axis programs for Inconel and other nickel superalloys. You will leverage NX‑CAM and Vericut for virtual prototyping and toolpath optimization before production.

You will integrate new multi‑million‑dollar machines, mentor shop floor teams, and drive process improvements while maintaining tight tolerances on large format equipment. Strong automation and CLM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate or Machinist Apprenticeship or similar with 3 years CAM programming experience.
• 5-axis CNC programming experience using a CAM system (NX preferred).
• 1+ year CLM, Renishaw probing, and variable-based programming.
• Hands-on machinist with experience on large-format VTL/VBM machines and tight tolerances.

Responsabilités

• Design and optimize high-efficiency CNC programs for complex multi-axis setups.
• Use Vericut for virtual prototyping to validate toolpaths before production.
• Develop adaptive probing routines and macro programs for stability.
• Integrate new multi-million-dollar machine tools and establish standards.
• Provide mentoring and floor support, troubleshooting setups and first-pieces.
• Generate and support CNC programs using NX-CAM across milling/turning/grinding/EDM.
