Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC, seeks a seasoned CNC Programmer/ Machinist to design and optimize 5-axis programs for high-temperature superalloys. You will validate toolpaths in Vericut, develop adaptive probing routines, and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to commission new multi-million-dollar machines.

You will mentor floor staff, generate NC programs using NX-CAM, and drive process improvements to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or Machinist Apprentice with 3 years CAM programming experience.
• High school diploma with 6 years CAM programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize high-efficiency CNC programs for multi-axis setups.
• Validate code with Vericut in a virtual environment.
• Develop adaptive probing routines and CLM processes.
• Commission new multi-million-dollar machine tools and establish baseline machining standards.
• Provide operator training and floor support for CNC programming and troubleshooting.
