Galen College of Nursing in Roanoke, VA, seeks a Simulation Lab Manager to coordinate simulation experiences across nursing programs, ensuring quality and adherence to industry standards. The role partners with Directors of Clinical Learning, campus leadership, and faculty to uphold CSLOs and simulate learning with top-notch resources.

The ideal candidate holds an MS in nursing, RN licensure, CHSE (or eligible), and at least three years of RN clinical practice plus two years teaching in

Competenze

• RN licensure in applicable state.
• Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Certification as Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) or eligible.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical RN experience.
• Minimum two (2) years teaching in a simulation setting.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and supervise the general operation of the simulation laboratory to provide standardized simulation experiences.
• Assist faculty and students with the use and operation of simulation equipment and experiences.
• May serve as faculty substitute in simulation sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to provide training on equipment and supplies.
