Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Learning Lab Manager to coordinate and support clinical learning laboratory experiences across programs. You will work with faculty, campus leaders, and college teams to ensure quality outcomes and alignment with HSSOBP standards.

The role requires an MSN with unencumbered RN licensure and several years of RN experience, plus staff training and inventory oversight. Leadership in a dynamic nursing education environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN licensure in the applicable state.
• MSN from an accredited institution.
• CHSE credential preferred when eligible.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical RN experience; two (2) years teaching in clinical lab or simulation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the operation of the clinical learning laboratory to provide standardized learning experiences.
• Assist faculty and students with the use and operation of laboratory equipment and standardized lesson plans.
• Assist with lab preparation based on course requirements.
• May serve as faculty substitute in laboratory sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to obtain training on equipment and supplies for the lab.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate third-party communication for lab equipment and supplies.
• Schedule labs for regular classes, open lab, advanced clinical skills, and special events.
• Provide standardized orientation and training for clinical learning lab staff per guidelines.
