Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Roanoke is seeking a Simulation Lab Manager to coordinate and optimize all simulation experiences in collaboration with Directors of Clinical Learning and campus leadership. You will ensure quality outcomes aligned with CSLOs for nursing programs.

The role requires an MSN, RN licensure, CHSE eligibility, and at least three years of nursing practice with two years in simulation education. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN licensure required in applicable state.
• Master of Science in Nursing required; CHSE or eligible.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience; 2 years in simulation teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the overall operation of the simulation lab to provide standardized experiences.
• Assist faculty and students with simulation equipment and scenarios.
• May substitute as faculty to facilitate simulation sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with campus leaders to train on equipment and supplies used in simulations.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate curriculum-related simulation activities across programs.
• Oversee hiring, training, and development of simulation faculty and technicians.
