Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Learning Lab Manager to oversee clinical learning laboratories and ensure quality CSLO achievement across programs. You will work with faculty, campus leaders, and college clinical leaders to implement standardized CLL plans and equipment operations.

Ideal candidates have an MSN with RN licensure, 3+ years of clinical nursing experience and 2+ years in clinical lab or simulation education, plus strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in applicable state.
• MSN from an accredited program; CHSE preferred when eligible.
• Minimum 3 years RN clinical experience; 2 years teaching in clinical lab/simulation preferred.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use PCs, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise clinical learning lab operations to provide standardized learning experiences.
• Assist faculty and students with lab equipment, supplies and lesson plans.
• Support lab preparation based on course requirements for clinical labs.
• May substitute as faculty in lab sessions as needed.
• Train and mentor CLL faculty and technicians under campus leadership.
• Maintain CLL inventory and coordinate third-party equipment support.
• Oversee lab use for classes, open lab, simulations, CPEs and special events.
