Job description

The Lead Client Advisor is a pivotal role responsible for providing exceptional customer service while leading and managing a team within a retail or service environment. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure store operations run smoothly, sales targets are met, and clients receive personalized attention. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in retail management, sales, and team supervision, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.

Duties
  • Lead and supervise a team of client advisors, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales.
  • Manage employee orientation, training & development programs, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Conduct interviewing and recruiting activities to attract qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement sales strategies, pricing policies, and promotional campaigns to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Manage inventory control, purchasing decisions, and store merchandising to maximize profitability.
  • Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts and assist in store promotions to increase foot traffic and sales.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff and upper management regarding store performance and operational issues.
Skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or similar environments.
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, phone etiquette—and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, sales management, retail math, budgeting, and pricing strategies.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge of recruiting processes including interviewing techniques and employee orientation programs.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are preferred for serving diverse customer demographics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
