Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector in Memphis, TN to lead advanced construction engineering inspections on transportation projects. You will supervise lower-level inspectors, review plans, coordinate field activities, and support contract administration and project documentation.

The role requires strong inspection experience, the ability to exercise independent judgment, and effective written and verbal communication. GDOT certifications or equivalent are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years transportation technician experience.
• Construction Management or related degree or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level inspection work on roadway and bridge projects.
• Supervise and guide lower-level inspectors.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing.
• Prepare project documentation and records.
• Attend project meetings and support contract administration.
