Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced inspection on transportation projects in the Cartersville, GA area. The role leads inspectors, supports contract administration, and conducts field engineering duties as needed.

The candidate should have four+ years of transportation inspection experience, GDOT certification readiness, and strong communication skills to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and LAP requirements. A collaborative team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Progressive transportation inspection experience with a state agency or consultant.
• Experience leading inspectors and coordinating field work.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and adherence to LAP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced construction engineering inspection for roadway, bridge projects.
• Lead project inspections and supervise lower-level inspectors.
• Prepare and review inspection reports and project documentation.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, and field compliance with plans and specs.
• Assist with contract administration and field measurements for pay items.
• Participate in meetings and project close-out activities.
• Support locally administered project oversight and schedule reviews.
