Job summary
Accura Engineering seeks a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced construction engineering inspection for transportation projects in Georgia. You will lead inspection teams, review documentation, and support contract administration on complex roadway and bridge work.
Responsibilities include coordinating field staff, monitoring workmanship to plans, and attending project meetings. GDOT certifications and a valid driver’s license are required; salary is based on experience and discussed in
Qualifications
- Minimum four years of progressive transportation technician experience with a State Highway Agency or consultant.
- Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
- Experience serving as a lead inspector and coordinating inspection personnel.
- Obtain certifications and pass GDOT qualification tests within specified time frames.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced-level construction inspection for roadway and bridge projects.
- Supervise lower-level inspectors and provide guidance.
- Conduct material sampling, inspection, and testing for compliance.
- Review invoices and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Attend project meetings and support contract administration and close-out activities.
