Job summary
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector for the Cartersville, GA area to perform advanced construction engineering inspection on transportation projects.
This role serves as lead inspector, supervising lower-level staff and supporting contract administration and project documentation. The Senior CEI Inspector will conduct complex inspections of roadway and bridge work, oversee materials sampling and testing, review plans and specifications, and
Qualifications
- Four years of progressive transportation technician experience with a State Highway Agency or consultant.
- Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
- Experience serving as a lead inspector and coordinating inspection personnel.
- Obtain required certifications and pass GDOT qualification tests.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced-level inspection work on roadway and bridge construction projects.
- Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing for compliance.
- Lead Project Inspector, supervise inspectors and coordinate inspections.
- Review plans, specs, and contract requirements for adherence.
- Participate in project meetings and assist with project documentation.
