Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to lead construction engineering inspections for transportation projects. The role involves directing inspectors, conducting complex field inspections of roads and bridges, and assisting with project documentation and contract administration.

Qualified candidates will have GDOT certification readiness and experience with related inspections, testing, and reporting. The position offers competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Progressive transportation technician experience with a State Highway Agency or consultant.
• Lead inspector experience and ability to coordinate inspection personnel.
• Ability to obtain GDOT certifications and pass qualification tests within required time frames.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level inspection for roadway and bridge construction.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing per project requirements.
• Lead and supervise lower-level inspectors on assignments.
• Monitor workmanship and materials for compliance with plans and specs.
• Perform contract administration tasks including field measurements and documentation.
• Participate in project reviews, close-out activities, and funding verification.
