Accura Engineering seeks a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced inspection services on transportation projects in the Dalton, GA area. You will lead inspections, supervise other inspectors, and support contract administration and documentation efforts.

Responsibilities include coordinating field activities, conducting materials testing, and ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. GDOT certifications are desired; a relevant degree or equivalent experience is required.

Competenze

• Progressive transportation technician experience with a State Highway Agency or consultant is required.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Experience serving as a lead inspector and coordinating inspection personnel.
• Certifications such as GDOT WECS and Field Concrete Technician Certification are required or pursued.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain plans, specs, and inspection procedures.

• Perform advanced-level inspection work on roadway and bridge projects.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing to verify specs.
• Lead project inspections and supervise lower-level inspectors.
• Monitor workmanship and materials for plan/spec compliance.
