Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the scheduling of housekeeping work assignments and oversees the completion of the assignments.
• Ensures the safety and security of employees and customers; supervises programs to reduce and control loss time injuries.
• Reviews staffing levels to maintain the budgeted level of employment; delegates authority and assigns responsibilities.
• Develops staff through interviews, hires and evaluations; maintains employee files.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards for safety, chemicals and bloodborne pathogens; operates cleaning equipment safely.
• Reviews housekeeping activities with the Executive Housekeeper.
• Handles routine customer complaints and incidents and escalates when necessary.
