Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest experiences and cashwrap excellence across store operations. You will lead cashier teammates, deliver personalized service, and support sales goals while ensuring compliance and cleanliness.

In this role, you’ll train new cashiers, handle transactions, and collaborate with managers to optimize loyalty outcomes and cross‑sell Ulta Beauty products. The position requires flexibility, a strong guest focus, and the ability to work a varied schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi‑task, and problem‑solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Provide exceptional guest service with a welcoming, personalized experience.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges in a courteous manner.
• Assist in pairing guests with associates for makeup applications and demos to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver a premier guest experience.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest readiness.
• Ensure regular attendance and collaboration with store leadership.
