Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is hiring a Lead Cashier to drive guest transactions, maintain cashwrap standards, and train new cashiers. You will lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service and loyalty engagement, while supporting store-wide sales goals.

The role requires 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to coach teammates. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty and credit.
• Greet and engage each guest, personalize service, and recommend Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest-readiness.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
