Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead daily front-end operations, mentor cashiers and ensure an outstanding customer service experience. You will supervise team members, coordinate schedules, and support loss prevention while maintaining a friendly, efficient checkout environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and hands-on supervision in a fast-paced store setting, with a focus on accuracy and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Excellent customer service, friendly demeanor, and ability to act as a role model.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.

Responsibilities

• Visit registers to provide direction and support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist customers with questions at the register and resolve issues.
• Schedule and oversee proper meal and rest breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and take steps for disciplinary actions.
